Our goal: Offer to our customer the effort of our own vineyard, the best quality and the best prices.
The company.
We are a family winery with a long tradition in a wine-world, now the seventh generation dedicated to the growing of our own vineyards.
Due to our family character and the aim of distinction , we have bet on wine differentiation and specially because the terroir of our vineyards.
The vineyard.
We cannot start off by speaking about our wines, without speaking of the terroir first, which is the most important land, climatology and, more accurately, our vineyards.
The vineyards as well as the winery are situated in an area known as ‘the Coque-La Chapara’, located in the North of Villarrobledo municipal district (Albacete province, Spain).
The estate consists of 78 Hectares divided in pieces of land, depending on type of grape, variety, age of the vineyard and growing method. On these premises, the manufacture and destiny of wine will be different. We can boast the average age of our vineyard is approximately 36 years.
As well as the age of the vineyards, we must take into consideration that
they are under extreme climatological conditions, which are cold winters
and hot summers. Special micro-climatological conditions are the main
feature of the area, due to poor sandy land, thin superficial layer of ‘chinarro’
(small stone) and summer storm rainwater happening during the ripening process.
During the day the average temperature is of 40o C and in the evening of 12 oC. This entails a very slow ripening of the grape, obtaining intense persistent wine’s aroma as well as acidity and a balanced colour for our wines.
